In brief, his previous efforts have spanned from gas turbine design to hypersonic vehicle unsteady combustion modeling to US Navy carrier strike group portfolio optimization. Parker's previous experiences with academia, government, and industry allowed him to explore a wide breadth of research interests.

Parker is affiliated with three research groups at MIT having crafted a highly interdisciplinary, sociotechnical research program. His current research activities concern systems-level operational analysis and development for Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) networks. Parker is the 2014 MIT Zakhartchenko Fellow and a NASA Aeronautics Scholar from 2012 - 2016.

His undergraduate degree is from Georgia Tech.

He previously completed a dual master's program in Aerospace Systems Engineering and Technology & Policy at MIT. Parker is a PhD Candidate in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Beyond that, I work with non-profits helping with process improvement & strategic planning. Outside Intel, I spend time within High & Middle school classrooms, bringing with me stories from 30+ countries, a youth-centered philosophy, and an engaging attitude.

Working within the supply chain, I do everything from project management to process improvement. Professionally, I work in Oregon for Intel - after 4 Industry work experiences in college. From working with collegiate Student Gov'ts on diversity & inclusion initiatives, to initiating mentorship initiatives, to engaging in cross-disciplinary engineering teams I want to continue to use my project-based mindset to connect people. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, a Business Minor, and a Chinese Minor, I love to teach, mentor, lead, and have fun. From my global travels to Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa I have seen first hand how a strong supply chain can impact individual lives. Raised as a small town kid from Albany, Georgia, USA, I believe that ordinary people can connect and impact each other on a global scale.
